During COVID, while visiting a friend in Louisville, Cindy was handed a book that would quietly change the course of her life. After reading The Home Edit, something shifted. She had always believed that environment drives performance, but this was the moment she realized her instinct for space was more than personal preference. For as long as she can remember, she has understood how a room flows, how it functions, and how small shifts can dramatically change how it feels. What others see as clutter, she sees as potential. What feels overwhelming to someone else becomes a solvable system in her mind. That book gave language to what had always come naturally to her and revealed that what felt instinctual was something many people did not know how to create on their own.
Simply Organized Interiors launched in October 2020; however, her foundation was built long before that.
Cindy grew up in El Paso, Texas, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Fitness and Sports Medicine from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisville. She brings over 15 years of experience in corporate wellness leadership, strength and conditioning, group fitness instruction, and adjunct teaching. Her career has always centered on helping people build systems, discipline, and sustainable human performance.
During the lockdown she applied that same lens to her own home. She started with one drawer. Then her kids’ closets. Then she created a pantry. Then she refreshed her laundry room. Room by room, she began transforming her environment.
Cindy’s entire professional life has been centered on one question:
How do we create environments that allow people to perform at their best?
For her, the answer became clear. Home organization.
Her philosophy is simple: Disorganization is not laziness. It is overload.
Behind every chaotic closet is a full calendar.
Behind every cluttered garage is a family juggling too much.
Behind every inefficient workspace is lost time and mental energy.
Cindy understands that your environment directly impacts your output, your focus, your mood, your efficiency, and even your confidence. That performance mindset is what differentiates her work. She does not just make homes look organized. She builds systems that support how high-performing people live.
What began as organizing her own space quickly became a business serving busy families, executives, physicians, athletes, and business owners. In 2023, Simply Organized Interiors became the exclusive organizing partner for The Container Store Cincinnati.
She is a wife and mother of two boys who have grown up watching their mom build something from the ground up. She moved to Cincinnati in 2008 and has proudly built both her family and her business here.
Beyond business growth, Cindy believes deeply in community impact. Through what she calls Give Back Projects, she has quietly helped charities and families in crisis restore dignity and peace within their homes. Because organization, at its core, is about care.
She often says, “This is the service you didn’t know you needed until you experienced it.”
Because when your space works, you work better. And that 5 percent shift ripples into everything else that matters.
