Do I need to organize or clean before you arrive?

Not at all. We want to see your home as you use it every day. There’s no need to pre-organize, purchase products, or make the space “ready” for us. Seeing what’s working and what isn’t helps us create systems around your real life.

How much does professional organizing cost?

Every project is different, so your investment depends on the size of the space, project scope, team size, and level of support needed. Following your In-Home Consultation, you’ll receive a customized estimate outlining the recommended team, anticipated project time, and services for your project. A typical daily rate for a full team costs around $2,500 - $3,500.

Do I need to be home while you organize?

Accepted Answer

Not the entire time. We’ll need your input during the editing process when decisions involve what you’d like to keep, donate, relocate, or let go. Once those decisions are made, our team can handle much of the organizing and implementation independently.

Do I need to purchase organizing products before my project?

Accepted Answer

No, and we actually recommend waiting. When products or custom storage solutions are needed, we can measure, plan, source, purchase, pick up, and coordinate the right solutions for your space. We work with The Container Store and other trusted partners, selecting alternatives when they better fit your needs.

What happens to the things I decide I no longer want?

You make the decisions; we help manage what happens next. Depending on your project, we can coordinate donation drop-offs, junk or waste removal, recycling, and trusted third-party services so unwanted items don’t become another project left for you to handle. Additional service fees may apply.

How long will my organizing project take?

Accepted Answer

Every project is different, so your investment depends on the size of the space, project scope, number of dedicated team members, level of support needed, etc. Following your In-Home Consultation, you’ll receive a customized estimate and specific details about your project plan. But, to give you a general idea, smaller spaces, like a pantry, bathroom vanity, and reach-in closet are often completed within one to two sessions. While larger projects, like walk-in closets, garages, storage rooms, or several spaces will take several sessions.

Can you help with custom closets or storage solutions too?

Yes. If organizing alone won’t solve the problem, we can incorporate space planning, custom storage solutions, product sourcing, delivery coordination, and installation support into your project. Our goal is to create a solution that works for both your belongings and the way you use your home.

What happens after my home is organized?

Accepted Answer

Your systems are designed to make everyday life easier, but even the best-organized homes need an occasional reset. Clients who have completed an organizing project with SOI can choose from our Maintenance Plans to refresh previously organized spaces, re-zone products, adjust labels, and restore systems before clutter begins to build again.
